And the character selection is exceptional.

The set brings the crowded Tatooine tavern to life with 21 LEGO® Star Wars™ minifigures, including Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO, Greedo, Ponda Baba, Dr. Evazan, Garindan, Labria, Jawa, Sandtroopers and members of the Cantina band, alongside an R2-D2 droid figure. LEGO® introduced seven brand-new characters with this set, while several included minifigure variants remain exclusive to 75290.

The Cantina itself opens up to reveal the bar, booths and numerous authentic interior details, while the removable roof gives easy access for recreating scenes from the film. Close it again and the familiar domed Tatooine building becomes an impressive display model.

But the Cantina is only part of the scene.

The set also includes attachable Mos Eisley buildings, a Dewback and 2 Landspeeders, including LEGO®’s first-ever brick-built V-35 Landspeeder, allowing the finished model to feel like a small section of the Tatooine spaceport rather than just a single building.
