Created for the 2025 Spring Festival and the Year of the Snake, this substantial 1,021-piece display model brings together a collection of traditional objects and symbols associated with wishes for a happy and prosperous year ahead.
At the centre is a beautiful decorative fan featuring 2 magpies flying above spring blossoms. The pair of birds reflects the idea that good things come in pairs, while the blossoming branch adds to the feeling of renewal and the arrival of spring.
Around it are more symbols of good fortune: a vase filled with fortune-red fruit, a persimmon, 3 golden ingots, and a traditional calligraphy pen with a scroll displaying the Chinese character for “spring.” Together, LEGO describes the objects as representing wishes for love, good health, prosperity and joy.
The display is also customisable. The decorative fan has 2 different build options and can be rotated on its base, while the other objects can be removed and rearranged, allowing the finished model to be styled differently around the home.
At approximately 20 cm high, 28 cm wide and 17 cm deep, this is a substantial display piece rather than a small seasonal decoration. It can sit beautifully on a sideboard, shelf or dining table during Lunar New Year celebrations — or remain on display throughout the year.
