A cosy autumn camping trip turned into a limited-production LEGO® set — created by a fan and selected for the BrickLink Designer Program.
Pack the camper and head into the woods with LEGO® Camping Adventure, a wonderfully atmospheric build inspired by those perfect autumn weekends spent away from the city.
At the heart of the scene is a charming two-tone vintage camper, complete with an opening door, awning, air-conditioning unit and plenty of tiny camping details. Open it up to discover a surprisingly cosy interior with a kitchen, stove, sink, bed and storage space — everything needed for a miniature weekend away.
Outside, the campsite is surrounded by beautiful autumn scenery. There’s a tree with changing leaves, a campfire ready for roasting marshmallows, a bicycle, camping chair, firewood and woodland animals, creating a display that feels like a tiny snapshot of a family holiday.
The set includes 2 minifigures — a father and daughter enjoying their annual camping adventure — giving the whole model a particularly warm, nostalgic feel.
But what makes this set especially interesting is where it came from.
Camping Adventure 910041 was selected for BrickLink Designer Program Series 3 and produced through crowdfunding rather than released as a normal LEGO® retail set. BrickLink Designer Program sets are created by talented LEGO fans, selected as finalists and produced in limited initial production runs.
Once that production run is gone, BrickLink currently has no plans to manufacture additional stock, making a new sealed example very different from an ordinary LEGO® set that can simply be restocked at the toy store.
That makes Camping Adventure an especially thoughtful gift for an adult LEGO® fan, camper or caravan enthusiast — and a brilliant choice for someone who already seems to own all the usual LEGO sets.
