A genuine New York Comic Con exclusive — one of the most unusual early LEGO® Star Wars™ BrickHeadz™ releases.
Recreate one of the most unforgettable moments from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back with this highly collectible LEGO® BrickHeadz™ set featuring Boba Fett and Han Solo frozen in carbonite.
Released exclusively at New York Comic Con in 2017, set 41498 was never part of the normal LEGO® retail range. Convention visitors first had to win a pre-show lottery just for the opportunity to purchase the set, making its original availability dramatically more limited than an ordinary LEGO® release.
The 329-piece set contains two separate display models. Boba Fett is recreated in detailed BrickHeadz™ style with his distinctive Mandalorian armour, helmet and weaponry, while Han Solo appears encased in his iconic carbonite block. Each model has its own display stand, complete with special LEGO® Star Wars™ and New York Comic Con branding.
This was also one of the earliest LEGO® Star Wars™ BrickHeadz™ releases, with Boba Fett designated BrickHeadz No. 27 and Han Solo in Carbonite No. 28.
For a serious Star Wars™ fan, Boba Fett collector or BrickHeadz™ enthusiast, this is a very different proposition from a normal retired set. It was created specifically as a convention exclusive and was never widely available through ordinary LEGO® stores.
